Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and provision of mobile roadworthy inspection and Queensland Safety Certificate services by Ace Motorsports (ABN 53 538 113 708). By booking an inspection through our website, by phone, or by email, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services we provide
We provide mobile roadworthy inspections and issue Queensland Safety Certificates for light vehicles, including cars, 4WDs/SUVs, utes, and vans. Our service area is the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa and out into the hinterland. We are an approved inspection service operating under AIS 13769 — QLD Government & Transport Department Approved Mobile Inspection Service.. A Safety Certificate is issued only when the vehicle meets the relevant Queensland roadworthiness standards. If the vehicle does not pass, we will provide a detailed list of required repairs before a certificate can be issued.
3. Booking and access
When you make a booking, you agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle, location, and contact details. You must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time and location, with sufficient space and safe conditions for the inspector to complete the inspection. If the vehicle is not accessible or the inspection cannot be completed, we may need to reschedule and charge a reasonable rebooking fee.
4. Pricing and payment
Our pricing is displayed on our website or confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is taken after the inspection is complete. We accept cash, bank transfer, card, and pay-later options including Afterpay, Klarna, and Zip Money. A certificate will not be issued until payment has been received in full.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
We do not charge cancellation fees because payment is only taken after the inspection is complete. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible via phone or email so we can reallocate the appointment time.
6. Inspection outcome
A roadworthy inspection is a visual and operational assessment based on Queensland regulations at the time of inspection. It does not guarantee the future condition of the vehicle. A passed inspection today does not mean the vehicle will remain roadworthy indefinitely. If the vehicle fails, the owner is responsible for arranging repairs before a certificate can be issued.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace Motorsports is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from the inspection or any failure to issue a certificate. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the inspection in question. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Ace Motorsports and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
